Rachael Penny
I have recently graduated in level 3 hairdressing with a Distinction and have a particular passion for artistic hair design. During 2021 I have keenly entered numerous hairdressing competitions and hold the title for Concept Hair Magazine Learner of the Year Avant-garde 2021 as well as their June Learner of the Month. I have also been selected as a finalist for World Skills UK hairdressing at their Grand Final at Loreal London in November 2021. As well as being a winner and runner up in Prostylinguk hairstyling competitions.
My plans are to now set up as a Freelance hairdresser with a home based salon where I can provide bespoke cutting, colouring and styling services and build up a local clientele. Being self employed will allow me the freedom to pursue a career in creative styling and editorial work for media, theatre and photo shoots.
I'm a mature student having a huge career change and feel just as excited and passionate about the future as if I were a 20 year old. "It's never too late to follow your dreams! "
My previous career involved PR and marketing and I have a BAHons Degree (2:1) in Public Relations and Media Studies as well as an advanced GNVQ in Media Studies (Distinction)
I now look forward to a creative career in hairdressing!

I am from Ukraine but now live in England. Photography is my passion. Since my childhood I wanted to leave memories of the best moments, because unfortunately our eyes can not do it for us, and from the memory some of them can be forgotten.
I take a photo of how much I remember, but professionally only for 2 years.
The most important thing for me is to show my essence and emotions for the world. When photographing people, I put all my soul into the process.

Neve Curson
I am Neve Curson and I am a student makeup artist at The College of West Anglia. I am qualified in level two media makeup and am currently studying level three. I aspire to go to university next year and either study media makeup or special effects. Experience wise I have done voluntary work at my local theatre we're I did the makeup for panto and many other shows. My skills set is very wide including experience on photography sets being both the model and the makeup artist. I also have great time management skills and my model is always ready on time.

Hi, I am Evie! I graduated in 2021 with a BA in Illustration/Animation at Kingston University. Last September I completed a year-long Internship at the Cologne International School of Design in Germany as an assistant for the International Office. I am currently employed at Historic Royal Palaces as a host assistant based in the Tower Of London. I only have experience working in retail and customer service roles and would like to get experience working in the creative industry. My interests are drawing and wearing clothing/accessories inspired by Japanese Kawaii, visiting new places to explore and doing some observational drawings, and creating fan art of characters from films, videogames and other media I grew up with.
Lina Vourlou
I am a moving image and installation artist playing with the physicality of colour and exploring metaphysical theories around reality. Fascinated by the similarities between the micro and macro cosmos, my work consists of vast masses of colour abstraction which entail transient and ambivalent forms that are left open to viewers' perceptions.
Collaborating with various music artists, I have created immersive installations for multiple music events at a number of art spaces in Nottingham.

Hi, my name is Liv! I am a 20 year old digital artist with a huge passion for creating my own stories and character designs. One of the best compliments I think I could recieve is that someone finds my characters or my stories interesting and entertaining, especially when focusing in on a specific aspect of said character and/or story. As an artist, I'm incredibly inspired by anime and some of my favourite video games; some in particular being Danganronpa (which me and my friends are actually working on a fan-project for,) Genshin Impact, Angels of Death and Bungo Stray Dogs. <3
I am currently in university studying Game Design and Development so I can work to create something that is just as inspiring and enjoyable to others as my favourite titles have been for me.

I'm a 17 year old artist, currently studying fine art at 6th form along side 3 other subjects. I usually work in a realistic style but I'm open to more abstract styles. I also feel more comfortable using coloured pencils, graphite and oil pastels however I also use gouache and acrylic paint. Canadian/Portuguese Award Winning graphic designer with a wide and ecletic creative range of interests, that covers film editing, digital art, photography (street, architecture, food).
On the design field my strengths are editorial, branding marketing and photography. Also with a Journalist degree and 20 years of experience on the area between radio host book reviewer and article cultural critic writting.
Graduated in 2019, soon after Covid strikes, that's why most of my work there isn't so much design in it, since Covid difficultied getting into the area in Canada.
Still all this samples show other creative fields I love to explore.
I don't have a particular style and I am too ecletic and experimental to be put on one creative box. Am easy adaptable and fast learner always interested in exploring the thin boundary, where design it's art and art it's design.
Moving to Scotland next year, if anyone knows about the creative job market there I really need some guidance.

Beverley Coldron
Hi i am a mature student at the university of East London Docklands studying my BA in fine art. Ive just completed my first year of the degree and in September will be entering into the second year. I graduate in 2023 and then wish to progress to be an art teacher so i have to do teacher training. Im creating work all the time and would really like to ve able to find an audience out there so I can put the proceeds to obtaining more art supplies and possibly helping a charity. I am 60 years old and was not able to work before or get any qualification because i was always sick, but since finding faith seven years ago I have been healed and have achieved five GCSEs in 2017 and 2018. I then went to the City of Westminster College at Paddington Green in 2018 and acheived a distinction in UAL level 1 art design and media. In 2019 i started studying my BA fine arts with the foundation year and i love every single thing we learn about.
I have also just recently been taking an online NVQ2 course about mental health in children and teenagers because i thought that it would be useful and i have been told that both papers have been passed and sent for verification but it will take 12 weeks to get the certificate. The exam is equivalent to 4-5 GCSEs.
This year i have also been entering some virtual exhibitions and artprizes but later in the year and early next year im hoping to enter real life exhibitions.
I am already entered in the Happenstance artprize and their exhibition starts in August. I know that i may not stand much if a chance of winning any of the artprizes but have as much chance of competing as the next artist and it is all experience that i would not get if i didn't bother trying.
mark mann
Mark Mann is a ceramics, textile and bronze artist and course leader from Norfolk.
Following a degree in Fine Art and Psychology, Mark studied Art Education at Homerton college Cambridge. A passion for construed textiles stems from a family history of needlework and quilting. Mark first received recognition for his textile work through winning the international festival of quilts in 2014 for his quilt ‘Dear Mrs Morcom’ created with Bridget Mann.
Following his MA in textile design, for which Mark received the Vice Chancellors post graduate prize, he was selected as emerging artist at the East Anglia Art Fund’s Heritage exhibition 2018. He has recently shown work at the Museum of the Home in London and next year will have a solo exhibition at the Museum of Classical Archaeology Cambridge.
